What is the IEPF?

Additionally, shares on which dividends have remained unclaimed for seven consecutive years are also transferred to the IEPF Authority.

According to the latest Consultation Paper on the IEPF refund process:

  • ₹5,685+ Crores of unclaimed dividends have been transferred to the IEPF.

  • Approximately 117 Crore shares have been transferred to the IEPF Authority.
